I bought this little sewing machine cabinet for $7 at a junk shop. After removing all the innerds I painted it then prepared to gilt it with silver. But all the heavy lifting has put me in the reading position. My back reminded me that I am a senior citizen and must practice moderation. Getting old is not for sissies. My Kindle is waiting.
It doesn't take much, does it? Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny! I too was reminded this weekend why I wasn't supposed to lift a heavy object? My son also reminded me and after he got onto me about it, I thought is he the parent or the child. Will this be how it is when I'm too old do anything and he's taking care of me :) Oh no it won't....
ReplyDeletePoor thing! I can so identify with that. Every time I haul, lift, shove and move stuff around I walk a little bent. And that dang hip of mine makes my whole leg hurt sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the blog! Sylacauga's my town. Sill-uh-COG-uh. Home of Jim Nabors and the purest, whitest marble in the world. And that's about it.
