Finders, Keepers and Recent Projects

Sadler Teapots are wonderful affordable collectibles.
I found this silver luster beauty on a recent run to Fredericksburg, Tx.

I forgot to take a " before" of this little hanging shelf.
I think it works well in displaying the little restaurant butter pats.
I painted it with a left-over mixture from the Pumpkin Painting project (see Oct. blog.)

There is a huge difference between tapestry and petit point purses.
  Know before you buy.
 But aren't they beautiful?

I am always looking for vintage green matte pottery.

This bird house is on the porch for now.
Perhaps it will make it to Shabby Friends as space becomes  available.

We found this McCoy hanging planter at the Whitewright Treasure Mall.
It's a keeper.
Another ugly little jewelry box waiting for some TLC.

I used the same left-over paint from the above mentioned Pumpkin Painting project.

Distressing,  waxing and gilding seemed to do the trick

This little shabby table was sold months ago.  A very hard project.

This little jewelry box took on a more primitive look as I painted and distressed it.  It, also has found a new home.
If you are in the area and have "stuff" you want to chunk, let us know.
